How to change save location and file to print name change?

The Adobe PDF Settings / Adobe PDF Output Folder has been set to "Prompt for Adobe PDF filename" from the beginning. That is what is baffling me. I am not getting the filename/folder dialog when I print to PDF. It automatically saves to the original document folder. I will frequently save different filenames to preserve older PDF's and now they are automatically overwritten, even though I have
